As the event speaker, you can share your screen with the attendees. Having slides or some type of visuals is a very helpful way to present information!
To start sharing your screen, click the “Share” option on the bottom toolbar. (If you’re using a Mac, you may need to give your browser permission first. See this FAQ from Apple) Afterwards, you’ll see a prompt, where you can select which window you’d like to share.
Note: If you’re using Safari as your browser, you might not see this prompt. In that case, your whole screen will be shared.
If you try to share your screen while another person is sharing, you’ll be asked if you’d like to take over screen sharing. If you choose “Take over screenshare”, it will stop the other person’s screenshare. Please communicate with the other person first so you don’t interrupt them!
